In order to sign BIL documents via electronic signature (E-signature), you need to log in to BILnet, BIL's online banking service.

On a personal computer/tablet:
- Log in to BILnet using a browser of your choice with your usual LuxTrust details.
- Go to the “Electronic documents” section.
- Click on the “Documents to sign” sub-menu.
- Your document to sign will appear; click on the “Sign” button.
- Tick the box next to “I have read and approve the documents”. Click on the “Sign the document” button.
- Choose the LuxTrust product you would like to use for signing, and enter your usual LuxTrust details to sign.
- Your document has now been signed. The operation is complete.

On a smartphone:
- Open the app by pressing “Access my accounts” and log in with your Face ID/Touch ID or PIN.
- Go to 'More' at the bottom right.
- Click on “Electronic documents”.
- Click on the “Documents to sign” button in the middle of your screen.
- Access your document to sign. The document may take a few moments to appear. Click on the “Sign” button.
- Tick the box next to “I have read and approve the documents”. Click on the “Sign the document” button.
- Choose the LuxTrust product you would like to use for signing, and enter your usual LuxTrust details to sign.
- Your document has now been signed. The operation is complete.

Once your document has been e-signed, you can find a copy of it for download on BILnet under “Electronic documents”.
